Gospel Outreach Ministry

We believe in the command and challenge given to us by the Lord in Matthew 28:18-20. As such, we strive to get the Gospel message to every person. We do so in our area by knocking on doors and by passing out Gospel tracts. We send Gospel tract via Every Door Direct Mail to houses in our city and around our county. We also run buses and/or vans every week in order to bring men, women, boys, and girls to church. Our Missions program allows us to give tens of thousands of dollars per year to support missionaries around the world as they preach the Gospel. We teach and preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ weekly at church. Our attitude concerning the Gospel is that of the Apostle Paul's who said, "...that I might by all means save some."
Bus Ministry
Jesus said…“Suffer (allow) little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 19:14
What to Expect...
We have been picking up children on our busses since the early 1980’s. We love children. We have special Sunday school classes for each age group. We have a kid's service known as "Super Church" for kids ages 5 through 12. Our teenagers are on fire for the Lord because of our wonderful youth workers & the youth program. We would love to invite you and/or your children to ride the bus this Sunday. We have a safe, friendly, welcoming atmosphere for all ages!
First…
All you have to do is help your children to get up and get ready to meet our bus on Sunday morning.
Second…
Our bus workers will pick your children up at your door. Your children will be served a warm breakfast on the way to church. When the bus arrives at the church, your children will be escorted to their classrooms where nice, competent, trustworthy teachers will receive them.
In The Classes
Your children will be instructed in the basic doctrines of the Bible. They will learn about God and their relationship to Him. Ample time is given for questions from students. The children may participate in quizzes, do workbook materials and become involved in the class room activities.
After Sunday school, children from the age of 5 through the 6th grade will go directly to Super Church. Teenagers will attend the regular church service. In these services, children are taught lessons on their level that will help them to become good people and better Christians. Many character lessons will be taught during this time.
Then…
The children are helped back on the bus and driven right back to your door. Along the way, they will play games, win prizes & sing songs. We will get them home safely. The same bus workers will stop by your house every Saturday for just a few minutes to make sure that your child will be riding the bus the following Sunday. If no one is home, they may leave a notice to remind you that the bus is coming by the next day.
We realize that there are many “fly by night” churches out there today that promise one thing and deliver another. We are not one of those churches. Our church was established in Wills Point in 1983 and continues to grow. When we say we’ll be there, we’ll be there. Our desire is to see your entire family in church. Sometimes Mom & Dad can’t go due to scheduling conflicts. Sometimes they choose not to go for one reason or another. But….What about your children? Would you please let them ride our bus to church?

Children's Ministry

We have a powerful children's program. Sunday school classes are designed to fit each age group. Children learn the Bible in a fun and exciting atmosphere as knowledgeable, experienced teachers teach them the Word of God on their level.
We have a good children's church program. While the teens and adults are in "big church" listening to the preaching, our children are involved in an active children's church. They sing songs, play games, watch puppet shows, and they get to hear a Bible lesson that applies directly to them. We also have children's choirs as well as children's camps and a vacation Bible school.

This involves a criminal background check as well as a national sex offender registry check.
Teen Ministry
"Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it."
Proverbs 22:6
Many churches today are compromising in order the reach teenagers. Some churches have turned to fog machines, laser lights, dark rooms, and rock music in order to appeal to the younger crowd. We do not believe that this compromise and mimicking of the world is a necessity to reaching young people. We believe that the Word of God and the Holy Spirit still change lives, young and old.
We have a powerful and productive teen ministry. Teen Sunday school classes are used to help young people to deal with issues that they face in their youth. Bible preaching at TBC is geared not only to adults, but also to young people. Many of our young people have continued to live for Jesus into their adulthood because they grasped the truths of the Word of God at a young age.
We have many different activities for teenagers throughout the year, such as: youth rallies, youth camp, bowling, bonfire, fireworks, hay rides, etc. We teach our young people that you don't have to be boring to be a Christian! You can live clean and live for Jesus and still have a good time!
Though we have many "fun" activities throughout the year, our youth group is not built around "fun." Our youth group is built around the Bible and the family. The youth group is not a substitute for a good mom and dad. The youth group works alongside mom and dad to encourage Christian growth in a young person.
We still believe that the Word of God changes lives!
Adult Bible Studies
"Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching."

Each Sunday at 10:00 AM, adults meet with their age group in a Sunday school class. A teacher stands up and teaches practical life lessons from the Word of God.
Adults enjoy the fellowship of other believers as well as enjoying the opportunities to encourage one another no matter what someone is going through. You can learn the Bible plus you can learn that you don't have to face life alone by attending one of our adult Bible studies!
